What's Kitchen Table Talk Blogging About?

Several people asked what our blog tags represent. For example, what's the difference between clean eats and plantsy vegetarian eats, since both are based in fruits, veggies, seeds, nuts, grains, herbs and spices? So, we created this page to describe how we intend to use our blog tags.

They are not necessarily vegetarian, but you wont find fried foods! They are mainstream clean eats. Strict clean eating would include nothing but fruits and veggies. There is a scale, and we are mainstream! Minimally processed whole foods.


#FarmersMarketFinds is all about recipes and food ideas that are primarily created from food found at a farmers market. What is the difference between this and #CleanSimpleEats. Well a beautiful salmon dish with veggies may be a clean eat, but this category is focused on foods that are created primarily from the fruits, veggies, herbs and spices from the farmers market. For example, carrots are very popular at farmers markets. If you grab a bunch and then think - what in the world am I going to do with these - we may just have the perfect recipe.
